A little bit about me
For nearly 15 years I have had the great pleasure of photographing some amazing families. I truly love every aspect of what I do!! I have been invited into these families to capture some of the most important moments in their lives and help these memories live forever in beautiful works of art.
The art of photography is much more to me than producing images on paper, it is about capturing a moment in time and expressing the spirit of that moment through timeless pieces of art.
My passion for photography and the arts began when I was very young; beginning with drawing and painting and leading into photography. I received my first camera at the age of seven. I took pictures of everything, photography has been a part of my life ever since.
I hold a Bachelors degree of Arts with a major in Photography and a minor in Business from Sam Houston State University. Following my dream, I opened Sweet Pea Photography in May of 2000.
Sweet Pea Photography specializes in custom portraits with great emphasis on customer service. From newborns and children's portraits, senior portraits, family portraits, to events and weddings, we personalize every session to create a unique experience with the client in mind.
It is my hope that the images captured during your session will be treasured for years to come.
